Parking Information and Lot Maps

The IU School of Music is located in the heart of the Bloomington campus, and parking is limited during the day. Following is information about parking for visitors.

Prospective Students and Their Families

If you have an appointment with the Office of Music Admission and Financial Aid for an audition or tour of the School of Music, contact that office about getting a yellow pass to park in the Jordan Avenue Parking Garage during your visit to campus.

Events Goers

Parking is generally available in the evenings for performances in the School of Music. Event goers who do not have a university parking permit can park in the upper level of the Jordan Avenue Parking Garage for a maximum fee of $5 Monday through Thursday evenings. Parking is free and open to any vehicle on both levels of the garage from Friday at 6 p.m. until Monday at 7 a.m. The Jordan Avenue Garage is recommended parking for performances in the Musical Arts Center; Auer Hall and Ford-Crawford Hall located in the Simon Building; and Recital Hall located in Merrill Hall. In addition, the D spaces across the street from the Musical Arts Center are open to any vehicle from Friday at 5 p.m. through Sunday at 11 p.m.

Limited Visitor Parking
Visitors can park in the Jordan Avenue Garage for a fee during the day.
