STRING DEPARTMENT
Junior Position, Tenure-Track
Appointment Effective Beginning August 2009
RESPONSIBILITIES |
Teach violinists in all degree and diploma programs, including freshmen through doctoral levels; teach graduate courses in violin literature and chamber music. Service on departmental hearing committees, participation in recruitment, and service on school-wide committees is expected. |
QUALIFICATIONS |
Demonstrated excellence in performance and both private and classroom teaching. Master’s degree required; equivalent professional experience will be given equal consideration. |
SALARY AND RANK |
Commensurate with qualifications and experience. The committee intends to recommend appointment at the level of assistant professor. |
